EMC Introduction

EMC has made their name count for managers, organizations and network Certifications due to the value and the rewards their certificates bring. To date there are three levels of certification which are Accreditation, Certification, and Complementary representing the highest level of achievement.

There are six different paths or tracks to choose from such as Storage Technologist, Storage Administrator, and Technology Architect are available so individuals can match their certification path to their job role or industry.

There are also certifications in focused areas in addition to general certifications; network Certifications can therefore enhance their core networking knowledge by achieving specialist certification in technologies such as Storage Technologist, Storage Administrator, Technology Architect, Customer Engineer, Implementation Engineer, Product/Technology-Specific.

The cost for registering for the exam varies so you should check the website for prices and availability. Students can register for the exam at any Prometric or Pearson VUE office world wide but the exam is only available mainly in English and possibly Japanese in Japan. Contact the Examination Test Centre directly for more information regarding course availability, registration information and the cost of the exams. Remember that the costs may vary from vendor to vendor and from examination to examination.
