ITIL Introduction:

The IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certification from Exin was originally established in the year 2001 and was last updated in the year 2003.

ITIL Description:

The IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certification shows a higher level of knowledge of IT services. Once a student has successfully acquired the Exin ITIL certification you are qualified and more than able to managing day-to-day IT services, or establishing and refining existing processes

ITIL Required Exams:

To be awarded the IT Infrastructure Library certification, the IT Infrastructure Library student must successfully pass one exam namely; the Exin IT Infrastructure Library exam has a difficulty rating of about 3 out of 5 and is thus only a moderately difficult exam. This exam is available in English only.

ITIL Recertification:

A successful IT Infrastructure Library student will hold the IT Infrastructure Library certification for two years only, after which the IT Infrastructure Library student must re-validate their IT Infrastructure Library certification by retaking and passing the Exin exam or taking and passing the Exin written exam.
